The Moosalamoo Pony Club is a youth organization promoting horsemanship through improvement of riding skills and horse management. A chapter of the national organization, United States Pony Club, MPC is based out of The Equestry http://www.equestry.com/ in New Haven, Vermont. The club is seeking new members. One does not need to own their own horse to become a member, but must have enough experience to be able to control their horse at a walk and trot in an enclosed arena, as well as being able to answer some basic questions about taking care of a horse. Because equestrian events are time and resource-intensive, parent involvement is essential for guidance, organization, and support. Meetings are twice monthly with mounted lessons from spring through fall. For more information on becoming a member, email us at gsspooing@yahoo.com or call 518-963-7408 or 802-453-6450.
